Day 7: 100 Words for 100 Days

Pursuit of Passion

Watching the NBA summer league, I’m reminded how good the players are in the NBA. 

What I have admired the most, though, is the reluctance of some of the players to let their dream die. 

Statistics aside, there is power in the relentless pursuit of a passion. There is something refreshing about seeing people hold on to  hope.

I love it. 

Making it to the pros in any sport is a long shot anyway, so it’s commendable that these young men remain in the proximity of opportunity.

All any of us need is one chance that will change our lives.
