Day 15: 100 Words for 100 Days

It is what it is. But, is it?

Apathy.

Apathy is the stamp on mediocrity that marks improvement that requires too much.

Leaning into the deficit, gap, or shortcoming is surrendering that it can’t be changed.

I understand the need to move on with life, but moving on doesn’t alleviate the responsibility of addressing the issue.

It would be more beneficial to everyone if the root cause, or at least the true effect, is explored. Then, devise a plan to start trending in the right direction.

Though accepting things as they are is necessary. Remaining defeated is not. That’s a choice.

A choice that we need not make.

100 Words for 100 Days is my microblogging endeavor to share thoughts in bite sized portions to spark thought and conversation.
