Day 17: 100 Words for 100 Days
Falling Off
So I’ve fallen off.
It’s the classic one day thing after another. Snowball turns to avalanche type deal.
Normally, I’d beat myself up for not keeping my promise to myself. However, this time, I had to analyze what I actually promised myself. I said I would write 100 words for 100 days.
Though I meant 100 CONSECUTIVE days in my mind, that’s not what I put out there.
So two lessons were learned here:
Say exactly what you mean. Be specific.
No reason to start over. Start and finish. Period.
Bonus lesson: A good system simplifies execution of a plan.
