Day 4: 100 Words for 100 Days

The Beginning and/or the End

My heart goes out to the young man in Chicago that shot and kill another man to protect his mom.

Many of us say we’d do the same. Luckily, the overwhelming majority of us have never, and won’t ever be put in that situation to see if our actions align with our predictions.

But he was.

In the aftermath, I couldn’t help but to muffle the noise and zoom in on this 14-year old kid that was called upon to make a man’s decision between his mom and his freedom AND what will be the subsequent fallout from this decision.
